President Kagame on Monday attended the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week
and Zayed Sustainability Prize awards Ceremony and held a meeting with HH
Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed and the Heads of State & Government including
Armenia, Sierra Leone, Indonesia, and Seychelles.
During the Zayed Sustainability prize ceremony, the head of state presented the Zayed Sustainability Prize to
Ceres Imaging, an American firm, with the award of the Water Category.
The Prizes recognize and reward organizations and high schools that demonstrate impactful, innovative and inspiring sustainability solutions. The five award categories are; Health, Food, Energy, Water, and Global High Schools.
Earlier this Tuesday, President Kagame took part in a Presidential Interview at the Future Sustainability Summit, where he showcased where the country is when it comes to the SDGS.
Over the past 12 years, the Prize has directly and indirectly impacted
over 318 million lives and, together with its 76 winners, driven the adoption
of sustainable solutions and technologies for people across the globe. The annual
awards ceremony is held each January during Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week.
